Hatch was engaged in the
optimization of a pellet plant in Iran. Hatch has
been requested to assume responsibility for a
portion of the basic and detailed engineering. The
client has requested and Hatch provided, a lump sum
quotation to complete the basic and detailed
engineering associated with the Pellet Plant
Program.
In order to reduce the overall logistics of the
program, Hatch planed to sub contract a portion of
this work to Poolad Consulting Engineers. The
portion of work being executed by Poolad was
approximately equivalent to 360 - 400 man-days of
support.
In these regards, Hatch has requested and Poolad
has provided selling rates for selected engineering,
design and drafting specialists. These rates were
accepted by Hatch with no change request and
appended to the final purchase order.
